Mountain Biking

I know, I know: “There aren’t any mountains in Florida.” True, but there are many nice unpaved trails in Florida’s backcountry, with surprising scenery and wildlife.  And because Florida’s terrain is generally flat and forgiving it’s a great, fun place to learn to ride off-road.

In this course I’ll show you the basics of mountain biking. We’ll go to one of the area’s excellent singletrack trails to learn to negotiate the turns, bumps, logs and roots, and discuss equipment and tool needs, food, water, and navigation skills.
